Acreditation GAPs, ESS Action Plan (Caribbean)
Addressing pre-accreditation gaps to achieve GCF accreditation, gap assessment, and preparation of an action plan.
Project financed by a project preparation support package from the Green Climate Fund through the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to formulate a regional project covering three countries: Belize, St. Lucia, and Jamaica.
The project aims to establish co-financing for the development banks in each country, and to mobilize these resources for climate investments. The formulation of the project was carried out by a consulting team who worked on various thematic areas of the project. In addition, three credit appraisal documents were prepared for the CDB to demonstrate the creditworthiness of the three banks.
The project is in the process of being submitted to the GCF for approval.
