Structuring of National Financing Vehicle (Dominica)

In support of the government of Dominica, the design and implementation of a National Financing Vehicle (NFV) was carried out with the objective of providing a comprehensive mechanism for the identification, structuring, operation and financing of sustainable projects in the country.

As part of this process, the main components necessary to ensure the effective operation of the NFV were developed: the Strategic Framework of the NFV, its Governance System, a Financial Model, and an Operational Manual, among other key instruments.

This initiative seeks to strengthen the country’s institutional capacities to channel resources towards sustainable development, facilitating access to climate and development financing at the national and international levels.
