Gap Assessment for the Saint Lucia Development Bank (Saint Lucia)
Analysis and Action Plan for the application of accreditation to the GCF
Project funded by a readiness support grant from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to Saint Lucia through the Caribbean Community Climate Change Center (5Cs) in order to identify accreditation gaps of the country’s development bank.
The purpose of the project was to identify compliance of policies, practices, and processes of the GCF accreditation requirements by the Saint Lucia Development Bank (SLDB). The assessment provided the Bank with a document identifying gaps, as well as an detailed action plan with various solutions and actions to address them.
The project also emphasized training Bank authorities on standards used by development agencies in project management, grants, as well as the available financing mechanisms.
