Development and implementation of the Ecuadorian Carbon Exchange
Technical support was provided to the Ecuadorian Carbon Exchange for the design and implementation of a multi-registry exchange platform adapted to Ecuador’s voluntary carbon market, with the objective of strengthening the necessary infrastructure to operate with integrity and transparency.
The project included specialized technical assistance, an impact analysis, and training and capacity building activities for the main market players. This initiative lays the groundwork for boosting the carbon market in Ecuador, aligning the national supply with international standards and promoting the generation and trading of high quality credits.
