Carbon Neutrality (Argentina)
Carbon Neutrality Plan for the Province of La Rioja
In collaboration with the Government of La Rioja (Argentina), a comprehensive plan was developed to achieve carbon neutrality at the provincial level. The project included the evaluation of priority sectors, the identification of mitigation strategies and the definition of concrete lines of action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
As an innovative part of the plan, the tokenization of carbon credits through ALGORAND technology was incorporated, promoting traceability, transparency and efficiency in the management of climate assets. This initiative positions La Rioja as a pioneer province in the adoption of digital tools for climate action and sustainable development.
